- Select the Commissioning & Operational Readiness template.
- Click on the word Assessment.
- Select the Category that you would like to add custom factors to.

- Select Include.
- Click on the down arrow for the same custom factor.

Custom Factors will only appear in assessment created after the factor is enabled. Existing assessments and projects will not be affected.
Exclude Categories/Factors at Template Level (Commissioning)
Excluding categories or factors at the Manage Templates Level will be reflected on all new assessments in new projects created after the exclusion. Existing projects and their assessments are not affected by the template exclusion. This ability is only available to organizations that have the “Exclude” feature enabled by Valency.
To exclude a component of a template, click on the down-arrow button on the right of the category/factor then select Exclude. A black Exclude symbol will appear on the component that is excluded, and a grey Exclude symbol will appear on any upper-level components above it.
Exclude a Factor (Commissioning)
Auto Re-numbering Feature
To simplify the Commissioning facilitation process, when a category or factor is excluded from the template, the remaining categories and factors are automatically renumbered. Project stakeholders will not be distracted by excluded content. This has been reflected in the:
- Commissioning & Operational Readiness template report (facilitation package)
- Conducting of assessments
- Summary report
In the example below, the the Pre-Commissioning category has been excluded, resulting in a re-numbering of subsequent categories. Similarly, the second factor under Category 4. Startup has been excluded, resulting in a re-numbering of the remaining factors in this category.
