Template Customization

Template Customization 

Only Company Admin users can customize Turnaround Readiness (TAR) assessment templates. 

Template Customization allows users to create a new draft version of an existing template and modify categories, factors, weightings, and template structure without affecting previously published template versions. 

Create a Draft Template 

To create a customized version of an existing template: 
  1. Navigate to Admin Tab > Templates Page 
  2. Select the drop-down beside the desired template 
  3. Select Create Draft Version 
  4. Enter: 
    1. Template Name (required)
    2. Version Number (required)
    3. Description 
  5. Click Save 
Notes
Note: The version number must be unique and cannot already exist. 


Customize a Draft Template 

Once a draft template has been created, it can be modified as needed. 

Within a draft template, users can: 
  1. Edit the template name, description, and version number 
  2. Add, edit, exclude, and reorder categories
  3. Add, edit, exclude, and reorder factors within categories 
  4. Update factor weighting and configuration settings

Note: Changes made to a draft template do not affect previously published template versions or assessments created using those versions. 

Template Weighting 

The Template Weighting indicator at the top of the page displays the cumulative weighting of all factors within the template.

Factor weightings are configured at the factor level and must total 100% before the template can be published.



Reorder Categories 

To reorder categories: 
  1. Select and hold the arrow icon beside the category 
  2. Drag the category to the desired position 
  3. Release the category 


Add a Category 

To add a category: 
  1. Select Add Category 
  2. Enter the category information 


Delete a Category 

To delete a category: 
  1. Select the X icon beside the category 
  2. Confirm Delete Category 


Edit a Category 

To edit a category: 
  1. Select the category name 
  2. Update the category name and/or description 
  3. Click Save

Add a Factor 

To add a factor: 
  1. Select the category name where the factor should be added 
  2. Select Add Factor 
  3. Update the factor information 


Edit a Factor 

To edit a factor: 
  1. Select the factor name 
  2. Update the required information. Factor configuration options include:
    1. Name (required)
    2. Description
    3. Weighting (required)
    4. Sub-Category (required)
    5. Months Out 
    6. Duration 
    7. Ongoing or Hot Spot designation
Notes
Note: Factors with a Duration value of 0 are limited to the following status options: N/A, Complete, and Not Started.



Delete a Factor 

To delete a factor: 
  1. Select the X icon beside the factor 
  2. Confirm Delete Factor 



Save Draft Changes 

To save changes made to the draft template: 
  1. Click Save 
A draft indicator is displayed beside the template while it remains unpublished.

Note: Draft templates cannot be used to create assessments. 


Publish a Draft Template 

Once all template updates have been completed: 
  1. Select the drop-down menu beside the draft template
  2. Select Publish 
  3. The draft indicator is removed once the template has been published and a Custom indicator is added


Notes
Note: If a customized template is intended to replace an existing template, consider inactivating the previous template version after publishing the new version. Historical assessments remain available regardless of template status.
