Managing Templates

Managing Templates

Only Company Admin users can create, edit, publish, inactivate, and manage assessment templates. The Templates page displays all available templates and their associated versions.

Note: This article describes template management for Turnaround Readiness (TAR) templates. Additional template actions and configuration options are available for templates used in other modules. 

Manage Existing Templates 

To access available templates: 
  1. Navigate to Admin tab > Templates Page 
  2. Select the drop-down menu beside the desired template 
Available actions include: 
  1. Edit - Update the template name and description 
  2. Create Draft Version - Create a new draft version of the template
  3. Inactivate Template - Prevent the template from being used in future assessments while retaining historical assessment data 
  4. Export Assessment Data - Export assessment data for assessments created using the selected template


Edit Template Information 

  1. Select Edit from the template drop-down menu 
  2. Update the template name and/or description 
  3. Click Save

Inactivate a Template 

  1. Select Inactivate Template from template drop-down menu 
One inactivated, the template can no longer be used to create new assessments. Inactive templates are identified by a grey template icon on the Templates page. 

Notes
Note: Inactivating a template does not affect historical assessments that were created using that template. 



Export Assessment Data 

  1. Select Export Assessment Data from the template drop-down menu 
  2. A .CSV file containing assessment data for all assessments created using the selected template is downloaded 


Create a Draft Version 

  1. Select Create Draft Version from the template drop-down menu 
  2. Enter the name, version number and template description 
  3. Click Save
