Generating Insights

To generate Insights for a completed assessment:
  1. Locate the "Compare To" dropdown and select the benchmark(s) you would like to measure against. Carve Hybrid Intelligence provides comparisons to your company's standards and/or industry standards. These comparisons are also always accompanied by a comparison to CII benchmarks.
  2. Click Generate
Your assessment insights will then populate on the page with a 'Last generated' date.
NotesFor more information on benchmarking data please see the following articlesReadiness Score / Readiness Benchmarks and How Company Averages are Calculated and Benchmarked.

Preparing Insights for Your Executive Summary

Insights are generated according to the selected benchmarking comparisons and use imbedded expert logic to identify key outliers. AI summaries are created for each insight using the related comments and action items from the assessment. The "AI summary"  tag is used to highlight which insight descriptions have been generated using AI.

To prepare your insights for your Executive Summary:
  1. Review the generated insights and edit the text as needed. Click on the Insight title to display the underlaying data. Altered AI summaries are denoted with an "AI Summary (Edited)" message.
  2. Click the toggle to the left of the Insights, turning it green and highlighting the insight in blue. This selects the insight for inclusion in the Executive Summary.
  3. Click and drag the 3 grey lines at the end of each insight box to re-order in the manner which you would like to have them reflected in your Executive Summary.
  4. Filter your view of the selected Insights using the 'Show' dropdown at the top of the page.
An "Insights are out of date" message will appear if any further edits to the assessment are made (i.e., changing an element score or updating an action item).

Warning
Attempting to regenerate Insights at any time will trigger a popup warning that a new generation will rewrite any changes, edits, or selections that have been made.

Once your Insights have been reviewed, edited, re-ordered, and selected for inclusion in your Executive Summary, see the Generating an Executive Summary article for steps on how to complete your summary report using Carve Hybrid Intelligence.
